Goo’loo’in – black swan, Mu’beer – sugar glider, Duguu – cod (fresh and salt water)
While sitting on the banks of the Moonaboola (Mary River) fishing for duguu, a goo’loo’in and her walbai (babies) swam by. Up above me in the dhuu (trees) I noticed a little mu’beer stretching its legs before dozing off to yunma (sleep) for the djali (day).
