Bulid – boobook owl, Dung’u – bandicoot, Buthu – dolphin (Butchulla totem)
Sitting by the gira (fire, light) I can hear the splashing of the Buthu jumping through the na’rawi (sea waves). The dung’u is scratching in the baan (grass) while the bulid is watching us all.
