gim’bee – stinging tree
The gim’bee (gim’pie) can be found in rainforests and along creek beds. It looks like a small shrub with large heart shaped leaves, these leaves are covered in stinging hairs that contain toxins that can cause intense, prolonged pain sometimes lasting for days.
